Fill this in and we'll prepare your submission file. You send it as a pull request on GitHub. Once it's merged, your project joins the ranking.

What happens next

  1. GitHub opens your filled-in file. If it asks, fork the repository first.
  2. Press Commit changes, then Create pull request.
  3. An automatic check looks over your file. Once an organiser merges it, your project appears on the board within a day.

You don't pick a slot. The hundred projects with the most GitHub stars fill the board, and stars are counted every day.
